Merry Christmas! 2020 Prayer letter

Merry Christmas! 2020 Prayer letter

To all who have walked with us to build the kingdom of God here in Africa during 2020; thank you and bless you. Witnessing God’s work and glory together with you is what drives our strength to continue. Glory to our Lord!

The we are family campaign

1Seeing the increase in domestic violence during the COVID-19 outbreak, how broken our family units were we saw God’s saddened heart. God wants us to see our neighbours and say
“we are family,” see other drivers on the road and say “we are family”… This campaign seeks to start the process of restoration of the family unit all over the world through awareness of the message “we are family.” So far the pamphlets have been translated into 32 languages. With 1000USD, 10000 families can be reached. God created a family to be a happy unit, and he has started to work to restore this.

2Bible printing

We have translated the bible into the language Besileo. This is a language used in by about 4,000,000 people in Madagascar. 1000 copies have been printed and sent to Madagascar to date. Please continue to pray that these will arrive safely and be used to continue His work in Madagascar.

Bible college study material printing

5000 copies of the bible college study material has been printed. About 400 pastors and leaders of the church are taught with this material every year. Please pray that God will continue to use this platform to train His harvesters to spread His word.

Food ministry

3About 3,000 families have been reached with emergency food supplies during the COVID lockdown in South Africa. Those who have lost their jobs, were unable to work or support their families were given a small shimmer of hope through this. Every December, to help families in need over the festive season we support about 300 families with a food package that will feed them for the month. Each family can be supported with 30USD and we need your support to reach these families.

The Eswatini housing ministry

4Many houses in Eswatini are build from temporary material which now leak when is rains and overheats in the summer. We have started to help rebuild some of these houses of those most vulnerable in the community. We are building long lasting brick houses for the widows, and single parents whose sole wish is to have a house of their own to call home. With $2500 we can build one small house for these families. Please pray for continued support for this ministry.

5School construction

In Morondava, Madagascar we are in the process of building a high school. Many years ago we built a primary school and now with the growth of the children a high school is much needed. Please pray with us that God will use this school to spread His love and word to these children and that we will be able to find dedicated teachers to teach at the school.

Farming ministry (African leadership centre)

We have been farming buchu and corn at the centre and we have undergone early harvest of the buchu due to the continued theft of the plants. Watching these crops, that need lots of care, love and work, grow we can see God’s heart for us, the work, love and care he puts into leading us; and we are grateful. Please continue for pray for this ministry.

This year COVID-19 has brought on many hardships that can be felt in the flesh. This disease has hit close to home with some of our missionaries fighting the illness. Many South Africans have suffered from and still are suffering from the illness. Now more than ever, prayer is needed; prayer for healing, prayer for wisdom as a missionary and a prayer for the Lord’s hope, love and patience to reign in us…

For the Kingdom!
And we are family.
