USA Mission Team

A mission team of 17 students from Valor Chri1stian High School in Denver, Colorado, USA came to South Africa to serve. The team made up of 4 teachers and 13 students served in Children’s Church and Prison ministry.

Even though the students are at a young age, they helped in construction ministry. Their hard work and diligence showed the Heart and Love of Christ.

They also shared the gospel to the children in the area of Monwabisi for three days. Around 150 children gathered and was able to hear the Word. The team prepared bible-verse bracelets and mimed plays. On the last day, the children played a game where they throw color balls into the air with a big fabric that they held together. God’s love shined through the days that the children and the team spent together.

The team also went to a prison to share God’s Word. The students were touched seeing many of the prisoners cry out in prayer and embrace the Holy Spirit. They shared their experiences of thanksgiving and grace after witnessing God’s forgiveness.

Lord! We have thrown the seeds on the soil. Love has been planted. We pray that you will water the seeds of each soul that you have led us to. Help us be the plants that forgive, love and share your greatness. Help us to build and live by Your Kingdom.

Construction of a Kindergarten (Pre-school)

2To God, each little soul is important and worthy. God wants us to share His Word with little children. This January we have started the construction of the 36th kindergarten. The students from So-Myoung High School built the foundations, Eu-Jeong-Bu Shinchon Presbyterian Church completed the roof and the walls and in June, the missionary team from Valor Christian High School in Denver painted and added the windows and doors to the building.

God sent us people that plant, people that water, but He is the one who will make it grow. We experienced God’s heart for the children, and by His grace, the building is successfully constructed. Inside, there are paintings of flowers and trees to give hope, and on the outside, there is a message saying “God took the cross for He so loves South Africa” above the SA flag.

Lord! Shine your light on and through this kindergarten and bless all of the children. Allow us to be used for the construction of Your Kingdom.

Kindergarten Food Ministry

Another kindergarten has been added to our ministry and so we serve food to 12 kindergartens.

We serve oatmeal powder, rice, milk, chicken, potatoes, onions, carrots, soy milk, cabbage, canned fish, oats, juice, sugar and sauces.
We load the food and groceries on to a car and visit the kindergartens in the area. Watching the teachers teach the little children shows us how His love is overflowing to these individuals.

Please pray that God’s presence may be in each of the kindergartens. The role of the teachers is very important. Pray that they will be healthy in mind and body and also that they may love God more. Most importantly, we are looking for a missionary who will train the kindergarten teachers.

Children’s Church Teachers Camp and VBS

4The children’s church teachers camp was held on June 14th to 16th. This camp was in preparation for the
Winter Bible Camp.

In South Africa, the school holidays are around 3 weeks long from the end of June to mid-July. During this time, we teach children the Word of God. This takes place in 9 different areas over 3 weeks. It starts on Tuesdays and continues to Friday, from 10am to 2pm every day. Around 1500 children gather for Bible Camp.

Through the Teachers Camp, 30 teachers learned the worship and bible messages that they will teach and share with the children. They also prepared approximately 500 snacks. Every week, a 1000 apples, 1000 oranges, 1000 bananas and 2500 biscuits or sweets were prepared and shared with children.

Please pray that the children would learn from God and that they can live by His Word. We pray that the children will learn to love one another and forgive each other to continue expanding His Kingdom. We also pray for pastor Mphundo who is in charge of Children’s Church ministry and for the teachers who will serve at the Winter Bible Camp.

Transkei Church Service and Winter Clothing Ministry

5Every third week at Transkei, there is a united service where 4 churches come together and praise the Lord. It is a blessing to see people from far gather in His name.

It is difficult for young adults to join the services because they work, but young children walk for over 2 hours following their church elders and leaders. There are more children in the services than there are adults. The songs of praise fill the rooms in Xhosa. God loves the children of His. We pray that the people of Transkei will hold tight onto God and follow His ways.

African Leadership gave winter clothing to the church leaders in Transkei. People came from far to receive the warm clothes. Through this, we hope that everyone was able to experience the warmth of our Lord.

Madagascar Bethany Christian Hospital

6There are currently 4 doctors, 12 nurses and 10 office-workers serving at the Bethany Hospital.

It has not been long since the hospital was built, but they are already able to run independently with the profit they make. Every month, approximately 1,200 patients are treated and cared for. This hospital is now one of the precious stones in the community, and is gaining more acknowledgement.

There are, however, many equipment that they lack and need for the special treatment of patients. Pray that they will be able to receive better medical treatment.

Madagascar Antenina Public Health Center Construction Complete

The construction of the Public Health Center in a small village, Antenina, in Tuamasina Madagascar, has been completed. This center will be able to help around 2,500 villagers suffering
illnesses, diarrhea, colds, tuberculosis and Schistosoma.

Antenina Public Health Center is in a very remote place, and it is difficult for them to get medication as it takes 12 hours from and back to buy the medicine. This Center will be a tool in which they can share God’s love and gospel.

Madagascar School Building Project

9As part of the project to build a school in Madagascar, the construction of an elementary school was completed in Ampasindava village in Pangalan canal and Saharina and in the northern penelibe village.

In a safe, clean classroom that is no longer a classroom with rain and no desk, children can continue their studies without interruption. Hallelujah!

Madagascar evangelizesm and planting church

10It is amazing to see God’s Kingdom in Madagascar.

In Madagascar there is the Anvif Church, a co-operative church of African leadership. During Pastor Unzatu’s ministry, he has been co-operating with African leadership for 15 years in various ministries such as pastor training, translation of textbooks, youth bank, evangelism training, etc.

A mission school was established in this church a few years ago. Last year, in partnership with two mission school lectures, the Lord pioneered the church through evangelism in these very remote areas where outsiders could not go.

They have selected 10 districts, currently sending missionary school students in pairs in seven districts, starting worship and setting up leaders in the area. Some areas arrive within three days by bus, boat, carriage, or foot.

Pray that they will visit and preach regularly, gather the children and convey the word, train the leader according to the mind of the Lord every time, and receive His guidance.

Please pray for the regions and ministers.

This 10th Mothers School was a time in which we could feel God’s love for each individual.

‘Grace Land Preschool’ Ministry in Madagascar / Morondava

12The 48 children of Grace Kindergarten are living with happiness and joy by the love that the Lord feeds, teaches and cares for every day. We see the hope in Madagascar when we see children memorizing the Word of God and call upon the name of Jesus and praise Him.

Green Tree African Leadership supported a piano; and taught musical scales and notes for the first time.

I hope that children can dream of musicians through music lessons. I am now visiting the Trinity School in the western city of Morondava and I thank God as I see the Lord’s amazing work throughout Madagascar. I hope that the children of this place will not forget the love of the Lord who gave eternal life.

Madagascar ’Nest Immanuel School’

13Madagascar is the world’s poorest country with 77% of the population living on less than $ 2. 41% of the population is younger than 14 years old, but there are insufficient educational facilities for them. In addition to the poor educational environment, the quality of life is unbelievably miserable.

Nest Immanuel School is a kindergarten school. More than 100 students start their day with worship. Located in the center of the capital city of Tana, it is a school for the poor children living
in the thousands of garbage in the city center. When they come to school, they wash, eat, worship and study. Children aged 6 to 13 are studying and 7 local staff are working together. In particular, we worship with our parents every Wednesday afternoon and we also work together for community neighbors.

Madagascar Youth Bible School Ministry

14It is a youth bible school ministry that cooperates with local churches (Pamungena church).

First, we sponsored the Bible (100 books of the New Testament and old Testament) and over 80 young people registered and conducted a Bible reading school in the church on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

The goal is to train teenagers with the Word of God and help them to have dreams. In this village community with more than 6,000 inhabitants, there are only two elementary schools, but no upper secondary school, so the youth of poor families have to stop studying. Thereby the church community began to build a vocational training school. However, the church has not been able to finish the construction for 12 years.

We are cooperating to build a church school that will be used as a school on weekdays and as a chapel on Sunday.

Attached find some photos and below some info with regards to my ministry

The areas of ministry are Music workshops, Bible School, Father School, Seminars and Training Youth.

During the year past I presided over 4 Father Schools. Three of those were prison Father Schools. I conducted one youth camp and three training camps where we had 31 young people accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. I serve 12 Bible School campuses of some is as far as 750 Km away.. I visit once every month. I have Bible classes from Monday to Thursday and some weekends seminars , training, Father Schools, Camps or Training workshops.

Some times I accompany mission teams to other parts of South Africa, which is mainly where I serve. God’s Word is making big changes to the society and we are seeing great spiritual growth. Our biggest challenges are Fuel and Transport. As far as Bible schools are concerned we have 67 places waiting but we do not have the resources to help. I am currently also conducting training for Bible School lecturers in order to meet the need.
