Madagascar School Recovery

a

Cyclone typhoon strikes in January have caused massive damage to many areas in Madagascar. Twenty-eight schools have been damaged and many children have lost their schools. But the Lord loves the children of Madagascar and is being restored by the warm prayer and support of many supporters of African Leadership. Now, we are concentrating on recovery. Temporary buildings were built with tin and bamboo to create a temporary classroom. We are also making sure that there is no trouble in class. We are also trying to make every classroom more sturdy and strong. We repair the weak part and repair it with materials which can endure strong wind better. We will also paint the buildings and classrooms again with beautiful colors.

Also, in areas where there is no school, or where the classroom is built with roofs of bamboo and banana leaves, many schools often break down by winds or rain and students can’t go to schools for months. I would like to ask you to find those who will participate in the school building ministry. Three schools of elementary school, a bathroom and teacher’s house are built for $ 20,000. I see the Lord approaching the children through school ministry. Please pray that Madagascar does not suffer from hunger but see God’s grace and hope through education.

Children Church “Emerging Leadership” Training

b

Tim and Mezs from England visited the African Leadership Center again last month for “emerging leadership” training. Last year, they gave the Emerging Leadership Training, and I was impressed and thankful for the changes and wishes of the participants. It was really impressive and inspiring. Through this training, we’ve seen the leaders change their lives. A hopeless child who was studying to just earn money, now study to People who used to be lazy, now have a willingness to do something. People have a willingness to find something new instead of doing repeated routines. People also found the meaning of living for others instead of being selfish and thinking only of oneself. Instead of waiting for someone to do something for me, people now first tried to do something for others. The attitude of people have changed. They are now willing to achieve something instead of giving up their plans and goals. It is a miracle and only by God’s grace.

We are now expanding Emerging Leadership Training to invite school leaders and community leaders. The Lord will fulfill this dream. The dream is: the village, dreaming of the bright society, the kingdom of God, where the children are willing to hope and reach their best. I pray that Kyalithia that helps, courage and serves each other. I see the kingdom of God. Please pray for this dream together.

Center Expansion

c

The African Leadership Conference Center (ALCC) is expanding. We will increase the warehouse from about 1,100 sqft to 2,500 sqft and use it as a conference hall (accommodation space). Over the past few years, we have had few small accommodations and have been hosting small-scale children’s camps, teacher camps, youth camps and Bible reading camps. Once the center expansion is completed, we can accommodate up to 50-70 people. In addition, a small camp can take place in two places at the same time. Through this center, we will see many children, young people, and many pastors and community leaders change in the name of Jesus Christ, and they see the vision of the Lord. We will proclaim the Lord.

I also see the glory of the Lord as I look at South Africa, which will be renewed with the restoration of family through the Father ‘s & Mother’s school (training). We especially praise God who saved the center from the forest fire accompanied by a wind of 75 km / h in November last year. I will glorify God, looking at the image of the Lord who turned the flames away, looking at the miraculous restoration work of the Lord and the overflow of hope. Let us dream and glory together.

Ethiopian Refugee Church Lecture

d

A few years ago, a pastor named Shernett, who started the Ethiopian refugee church, came to see me. He asked me to help the Ethiopian refugee church. I was impressed by his enthusiasm and earnestness, and gave him basic training, printed his companions, and provided 5000 textbooks. This was the amount that can train 500 pastors and church leaders. He came back with a report last year. It was a miracle report that amazed us. 473 people were trained, 76 churches were founded. Over the past decade, pastors have been trained and the gospel has been passed on to Ethiopian refugees who have been scattered, living in difficulty. They worship in each area and have built churches in 81 regions. What is even more surprising is the fact that Ethiopian refugees are helping more than 240 orphans in South Africa by one church helping three orphans.

A faithful church, a church that conforms to the will of the Lord, and a church that resembles the heart of the Lord, and is celebrating and honoring God in South Africa. Also, 5000 textbook copies were printed again with the support of a number of supporters and an African Leadership board member. These texts were passed on to the Ethiopian refugee church. Lord! It is a difficult life for refugees, but please help them not to lose hope in the Lord. Let them have joy, thanksgiving and hope through faith in worshiping.

Sharing food at the year end

e

At the end of December every year, many people have difficulties. In particular, the Kyalithia area has more difficulties. The year-end and New Year holidays are a tougher period for those who do not have a regular job and live by daily jobs. There are no job during vacations during this festive period. Children with such parents are having especially hard and difficult times. In the festive days of many gifts, joy and abundance, they fight for hunger. We have been sharing food with community leaders for these past three years. Sharing is really a time of grace. We shared food with about 200 families.

Lord! Bless the Lord’s people who serve for them. I especially appreciate the dedication of the members of the German African leadership and the dedication of many people. Also, please find someone who will support this mission in 2018 (about $ 30 a month per family).

Sharing school uniforms

f

Many children enroll in school every year when the semester begins. In South Africa, all students must wear uniforms. If you wear uniforms, you are able to study in the classroom. However, some students, they can’t afford their uniform cost. Every year, for these students, the African Leadership provides uniforms and shoes through sponsorship. This year, we provided over 300 students with jackets, pants, skirts and shoes. Children and parents whose names are called by community leaders come forward to receive school uniforms and shoes. Their expressions of gratitude and joy to their faces, smiles, I cannot describe in words. One mother also showed tears. Children, they jump up and down for the first new clothes that they get in their lives.

Lord! They are the Lord’s children. They are sons and daughters of the Lord to be loved. Bless these children, have them look to the Lord in poverty, please help them study with hop. These children will enjoy as they receive now, but hopefully they will know the joy of sharing in the future.
